2008

Howard will join veteran owner/driver Marty Roth to form a two-car IndyCar Series team. Won the Indy Pro Series championship for Sam Schmidt Motorsports by four points, the closest margin in series history. Howard has two victories and 13 top-10 finishes in 14 Indy Pro Series starts in 2006-07.

2007

Competed in the first three Indy Pro Series races with SpeedWorks, recording a top-five finish at St. Petersburg 1.

2006

Won the Indy Pro Series championship for Sam Schmidt Motorsports by four points, the closest margin in series history.
Won two races, Nashville and Kentucky, and recorded five additional podium finishes. Won pole positions at Homestead-Miami and Chicagoland.

2005

Won U.S. Formula Ford Zetec Championship and Rookie of the Year honors.
Broke series record previously held by Dan Wheldon with nine wins. Captured six pole positions. Established series record with six consecutive victories.
Won only Star Mazda race at Mosport.

2004

Won his U.S. Formula Ford Zetec debut at Infineon Raceway.

2003

Won the British Formula Ford Zetec Championship on the strength of four victories and seven pole positions.
Claimed the United Kingdom Formula Renault 2000 Winter Series championship. Earned BRDC Rising Star honors.

Early Career

Began racing go-karts at age 7.
Won 21 consecutive races in a junior karting division.
Won three British karting titles, the 1999 Inter-Continental A British Open Championship, the 1997 ICA British Open Championship and British Championship.
