This was a truly significant weekend for Roth Racing at the running of the Michigan 400. A storm almost stopped the race but after a two and a half hour delay the cars took to the track and the resulting race was not disappointing. Roth finished the day in 18th spot and showed grit, determination and experience. Roth handled adversity with professionalism as he lost radio communications in the early part of the race and was unable to hear the call for a needed pit stop. The result was running out of fuel and the loss of numerous laps, a setback too large to overcome. "We raced a great race", said Roth. "The team really worked hard. Our pit stops were outstanding. Our next goal is to finish in the top and we are ready for the challenge."
